Sort Hashtable by keys in Java

In this tutorial, we will learn about how to Sort Hashtable by keys in Java.

Hashtable in Java stores key, value pairs. The keys and values cannot be null. The key in Hashtable is hashed, and the resulting hash code is used as the index at which the value is stored within the table.

HashTable doesn’t maintain the insertion order, neither it sorts the inserted data based on keys or values. Which means no matter what keys & values you insert into Hashtable, the result would not be in any particular order. We can sort HashTable by keys in Java using TreeMap. Let’s see this with an example.
